Product Design Systems

Build a small design system you can actually maintain: colour, type, spacing, components, and the documentation a second teammate needs. Campus products often look like five different apps glued together. This book shows how to freeze a token set, name components, and stop restyling the same button every sprint. Includes • A starter token sheet (colour, type, space, radius) • Component inventory and contribution rules • Handoff notes for Blade, CSS, and Figma-like files • Accessibility checks that fit a small team For product designers, frontend engineers, and instructors running studio courses.
